Veselí filištínové - "Šithauz" (1987)
Veselí filištínové (Cheerful philistines in czech) was an industrial band, which existed in the second half of the eighties. This tape was compiled by main person behind this project Antonín Hlávka back in 1987 after the group disbanded. The tape was given away to the friends and allies.
The name Šithauz (Shithouse) was inspired by sewage disposal plant in Prague, which served as a rehearsal room for some czech industrial bands (like Střední Evropa in previous post; btw, SE's guitarist Petr Trpák played saxophone in Veselí Filištínové).
I'm sorry for relatively low quality of the recordings, but it is due the poor recording conditions back then.
[The cassette was reissued in an expanded form of 3 CD's in 2011. Some info in czech here. It's possible to order it on this address, but I have no idea if the guy behind the label is shipping abroad. Try it, if you are interested.]
